"A public interface is the logical point at which independent entities interact. The entities may interact with each other within a single system, across a network, or across a variety of other topologies. It is important that public interfaces be stable and designed to support future changes, enhancements, and deprecation in order for the interaction to continue." source: wikipediaPublic Interface is a foundation that officially starts at the beginning of 2008, till that time the organisation is being formed and structurised. The Foundation investigates and stimulates the relationship between artistpractices and social, political engagement. The organisation functions as a platform for artists, curators and researchers and offers opportunities for research and public events. The aim of Public Interface is to initiate site-specific projects with global implications in order to analyse social preoccupations, indifferences and its main manifestations in the spatial context. Besides that Public Interface will function as an archive of political engaged art and activism. Each project will be linked to a network of relevant information.
